Russell Welsh Sr. of Westville died suddenly with his family by his side on December 26th, 2010 at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, NJ. Russ died at the age of 74. Hw was born in Camden and was a life-long resident of Westville. At Tarsio Lanes in Newburgh, NY on October 21st, 2010 William Howell III of Middletown, N.Y. bowled his first USBS-approved 900 series. William is the 16th bowler in history to make this great achievement. The 22 year old left-hander now has 14 USBC-certified perfect games. His previous high series was 828.
